Ingredients for 4 people
200g of canned cannellini beans
400g of black cabbage
1 onion
2 potatoes
1 celery stalk
2 carrots
extra virgin olive oil as needed
salt as needed
Procedure
To prepare this recipe, let's start by cleaning the black cabbage, but you need to remove the tougher outer leaves.
Wash it several times under running water, then chop the leaves a bit.
In a pot, add the extra virgin olive oil, and sliced onions, and sauté over medium heat. Then, add the black cabbage, and diced potatoes (peeled and washed).
Add water to cover everything, vegetable broth works too. Also, add the celery, and diced carrots, and let it cook for half an hour.
Stir occasionally with a wooden spoon, season with salt, and when it's almost done, add the cannellini beans.
Turn off the heat when it's cooked, and serve with bread.
Enjoy your meal! Buon appetito!
