Bucatini all'Amatriciana

In a pan with the oil, brown the bacon cut into cubes, drain and keep warm.

Add the chopped onion and a piece of red pepper to the pan.

As soon as the onion has softened, add the tomatoes, a pinch of salt and cook over high heat for 10 minutes. Now add the bacon.

Boil the bucatini al dente and dress them with the sauce. Add to taste with grated pecorino.
