Easter

EASTER

The word "Passover" comes from the Hebrew "pasah", which means to pass, and is a celebration common to the Christian and Jewish religions.

Pesach, in Jewish tradition, indicates the liberation of Israel from slavery under the Egyptians and the beginning of a new freedom with God towards the promised land.

With Christianity this feast has acquired a new meaning, indicating the transition from death to life for Jesus Christ and the transition to new life for Christians, freed from sin with the sacrifice on the cross.

The passage from the darkness of the cocoon, in which the butterfly is enclosed in the form of a chrysalis, to the light of the sun in its new colorful guise reminds Christians of the passage from the darkness of death to the light of the Resurrection given by Jesus.

Whatever your beliefs, now is the time to celebrate the triumph of light over darkness and death.

The lady of the day is (or must be) a moment of cleaning and renewal, a moment to open the windows and let the wind pass through our home (even the interior one), purifying it from the lingering influences of winter.

It is also a time to cleanse and renew one's psyche and to bring balance into one's life.
